Description |
The Allen-Bradley 1769-SDN compact DeviceNet scanner module acts as an interface which permits the communication between DeviceNet devices and CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 programmable controllers over the network via strobe, poll, change of state, or cyclic I/O messages. This scanner module can communicate with up to 63 DeviceNet devices. This scanner module can act as a master and owns up to 63 slaves I/O devices or can simultaneously be a master and a slave owned by another DeviceNet master. Unless connected to a MicroLogix 1500 base, this 1769-SDN module should be supplied through 1769 Compact I/O power supplies with a current draw of 440 milliamps at a voltage rating of 5 volts DC. This Allen-Bradley 1769-SDN module can operate at a temperature range of 0 degrees to 60 degrees Celsius (32 degrees to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) and weighs approximately 280 grams (0.61 pounds) while shipping. |
